Yemeni Government Forces Advance Against Houthi Positions in Al-Jawf

Government forces in Al-Jawf governorate have intensified their military operations against Houthi militias, marking the third consecutive day of heavy clashes as the national military advances into insurgent-held territory.

These engagements are part of the ongoing "Dawn of Yemen" operation, conducted under the operational command of the Sixth Military Region. Government troops, supported by coalition airstrikes and drone operations, have successfully engaged multiple waves of Houthi fighters deployed to the front lines in the southern and southeastern sectors of the governorate.

Military sources report that airstrikes have effectively targeted Houthi reinforcements and defensive positions, inflicting significant losses on the insurgents' personnel and military hardware. The tactical air support has played a critical role in facilitating the ground advancement of government units.

In the eastern fronts of Al-Jawf, government forces are systematically clearing Houthi positions, specifically within the Al-Dahidah mountain range. This follows the successful securing of the Qarn Al-Sa'iri and Malfifah mountains, where the militias suffered substantial material and human casualties.

Elite units, including the first and second divisions of the Emergency Forces, are currently penetrating deeper into Houthi-controlled zones. The operations include the storming of fortified trenches and the neutralization of extensive minefields and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) planted by the militias to impede the government's progress.
